What's in a name?

The name TE PĀ HAEHAEATA was gifted to the development by local mana whenua.

Haehaeata is the traditional name for Leaning Rock, the striking peak that rises above the Alexandra development. In Te Reo Māori, it means 'first to greet the dawn'. Mana whenua describe it as a beautiful and evocative name, bringing to mind the first light of day - a powerful symbol of renewal and new beginnings set within this ancient landscape.
